Product description
Due to the opening angle of 30 degrees of the clear transparent lens hood, the light is bundled and a beautiful grazing light can be created. This clear transparent lens hood for LED-strip profile is suitable for recessed, surface-mounted and corner profiles. With clear transparent lens hoods, the LEDs remain visible, which means that it is not possible to create an even diffuse LED line with these lens hoods. The light reduction is minimal with clear lens hoods.
These lens covers are made of polycarbonate. Polycarbonate has many advantages over PMMA (most profile covers are made of this). In terms of fire safety, polycarbonate is the only material approved for public spaces. The classification (flammability class) of our polycarbonate lens hoods is UL 94 V – 2. PMMA, on the other hand, is prohibited due to the melting, dripping and toxic gases released during fire.
